PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an anti-contamination plastic molding with a durable and hydrophilic surface layer. SOLUTION: The surface of a plastic molding carrying a hydrophilic inorganic oxide thereon is polished in such a way that the hydrophilic inorganic oxide does not come off. Thus hydrophobic substances such as a mold release agent and a binder on the surface side of the molding are removed.
