PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface-treating agent capable of being applied to the surface treatment of an elastic body such as a vulcanized rubber molded product and a resin elastomer molded product, and excellent in coatability, friction and abrasion characteristics, nontacky properties, sealing properties or the like. SOLUTION: This surface treating agent contains a silane coupling agent, a silicone polymer having about 100,000-1,000,000 average molecular weight, and an organic solvent-soluble cellulose derivative.
