PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attract eyes of players and to give various information on lottery results intelligibly. SOLUTION: The light source, of which the light is emitted in one of more than one color and the light takes the form of a flat surface, is prepared behind each of reels 8a, 8b and 8c, being correspondent to each of three symbol stop display positions. According to the start or stop of the reels 8a, 8b and 8c, the light emission action of each light source is controlled and light-emitting patterns representing such characters as 'L', 'U', 'T' and the like are displayed. The character and the background of these light-emitting patterns have different colors from each other, and it is set to show the possibility of winning various kinds of prizes respectively for more than one stage, by means of the shape and the presented color of the light-emitting patterns.
