PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group supervisory operation device and method for an elevator improving the reliability of the group supervisory mechanism of the elevator and improving the reliability of transmitting signals to a supervisory board without affected by the difference in the signal transmission method between the elevator side and the supervisory board side of a building. SOLUTION: This group supervisory operation device is provided with a main master control means 51 performing group supervisory control of a group of elevators and a sub-master control means 52 performing the group supervisory control substituting for the main master control means 51 and, when there is abnormality in the main master control, it is changed over to the sub-master control means 52 to perform the group supervisory control and the signal to the supervisory board 56 displaying the operation state of the elevator is changed over from the main master control means 51 to the sub-master control means 52 to be transmitted. |
