PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video game device and a storage medium for storing a program for varying a mark showing inputting timing and for facilitating operation for an unskilled player in a video game outputting music according to the operation sequentially inputted from an inputting means. SOLUTION: Marks 31-34 showing inputting timing are sequentially lighted and movably displayed from central parts 31-1-34-1 toward peripheral parts 31-n-34-n of a display means. When the mark is moved to the peripheral part, the mark is valued. It is determined whether or not a button pressed for inputting matches each mark, and this result is added to the evaluation.
