PURPOSE:To reduce occurring frequency of a stop of a component mounting unit due to lack of the component by dividing components of the number or more of blocks, allocating them to the blocks, and so disposing the components that a distance to a printed board becomes shortest. CONSTITUTION:The method for supplying components comprises the steps of (S1) forming a list for describing type and the number of mounting components per one printed board, (S2) sequentially allocating from a component cassette of less components to be mounted to blocks, (S4) thus confirming whether all the components can be allocated or not, (S5) rechecking, if there is the component not allocated, the number of mounted blocks, further so optimizing an array of the cassettes in the block that (S6) a moving distance of the board becomes shortest when all the components are completely allocated. Thus, a frequency of stop of an apparatus due to a lack of the component can be reduced, a back replacing of each block is performed, and high operating efficiency of the apparatus can be realized. |
