PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet aligning and feeding device of simple structure with a reduced drive movement mechanism and provide a simply structured filing machine using the aligning and feeding device. SOLUTION: The arrangement comprises a guide plate 21 having a vertical plane 21b installed in the carry-in position for a sheet 9 of paper, a rotational drive shaft 23 installed behind the carry-in position, another rotational drive shaft 25 installed in the carryout position, three belts 27, 28, 29 set over between the rotational drive shafts 23 and 25, the first 27 being moved with rotation of the shaft 23 while the latter 28 and 29 being moved with rotation of the shaft 25, projections 27a, 28a, 29a fixed to the respective belts, and a stitcher 3a fixed to the specified position, whereby sheets of paper 9 are received by the projections 28a and 29a and stacked in alignment in such a way that their trailing edges are abutted to the vertical plane 21b, and the obtained bundle of stacked sheets is pushed by the projection 27a, moved upon being pinched by the projections 27a, 28a, 29a, and located in the filing position with the stitcher 3a or carried out. |
