<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for utilizing stone-crushing byproducts, by which the stone-crushing byproducts, i.e., turbid water cake and/or a stone powder are treated so that the treated byproducts can be used as concrete fine aggregate, roadbed materials, etc. SOLUTION: This method comprises: mixing turbid water cake and/or a stone powder with a calcium compound to obtain a muddy raw material, then performing granulation with the muddy raw material as a granulation feed stock to obtain a granulated material, thereafter subjecting the granulated material to hydrothermal treatment to solidify it into a solidified material; and mixing the solidified material as it is, or a crushed and classified material derived from the solidified material with concrete fine aggregate produced in a sand production equipment, to use the resulting mixture also as concrete fine aggregate. Further, the solidified material can be used as a roadbed material, backfill material or horticultural material.</p> |
