摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working efficiency of an automatically operating excavator by performing excavation while moving to an excavating position for the best excavating efficiency so as not to minimize residual excavating surplus soil. SOLUTION: This automatically operating excavator is provided with an excavator 1 and an automatic operation controller 71 for storing plural work positions including at least an excavating position by teaching operation and repeatedly performing reproducing operation. The automatic operation controller is provided with an excavating range setting means for setting a range to perform excavation in the excavating position, an excavating depth setting means for setting the excavating depth (D-LIMIT) in the excavating range, an excavating depth determining means for determining whether or not the excavator reaches the preset excavating depth in the excavating range and an excavating position moving means for moving the excavating position by a prescribed angle in the turning direction in the excavating range in the next cycle when determining that the excavator reaches the preset excavating depth by the excavating depth judging means.
