PRINT PROCESSING PERFORMING SUB-SCANNING COMBINING A PLURALITY OF FEED AMOUNTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen deterioration of image quality in overlap system. SOLUTION: Printing is performed on a print medium while performing main scanning using a printer comprising a print head having one or more nozzle array including a plurality of nozzles for forming dots of the same color. The plurality of nozzles for forming dots of the same color have a constant nozzle pitch k.D (k is an integer of 2 or above, D is a dot pitch corresponding to the print resolution in the sub-scanning direction) along the sub-scanning direction. Each main scanning line is scanned s times (s is an integer of 2 or above) using a different nozzle. A plurality of combinations of different values are used as a sub-scanning feed amount at the time of sub-scanning by s×k times. When a sub-scanning feed for s×k times is sectioned into s sets including a sub-scanning feed amount for k times, arrangement of sub-scanning feed amount in at lest one of s sets of sub-scanning feed amount is different from those of other sets.
