PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a great rake angle be provided in the axial direction for a tip, and miniaturize an end mill. SOLUTION: Paired tip coupling grooves 2 and 3 are so provided for the positions of a point of symmetry with respect to the center axis O of a holder main body 1 as to be inclined in such a way that a rake angle in the specified direction is equal toα, and a slit 4 mutually communicating the paired tip coupling grooves 2 and 3 with each other, is provided for a space between both the tip coupling grooves 2 and 3 provided for the positions of a point of symmetry, the holder main body 1 is divided by two while both the tip coupling grooves 2 and 3 and the slit 4 communicating both the tip coupling grooves 2 and 3 are being held so as to be formed into paired tip holding half bodies 5 and 6, and tips 8 and 9 coupled with both the tip coupling grooves 2 and 3 respectively, are so devised as to be held by both the tip holding half bodies 5 and 6 by means of a clamping bolt 7 to be screwed in along both the tip holding half bodies 5 and 6.
