PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means, by which the sticking of flux components on the inner peripheral surface of a hole for connection to a coolant introducing-in/out tube of a coolant inlet/outlet member, is prevented and a work for polishing the inner peripheral surface of the hole for connection after diacharging from a furnace can be made unnecessary, when structural members of heat exchanger is tentatively assembled, and is connected and integrated by brazing in the furnace. SOLUTION: To the coolant inlet/outlet member 6 provided with the hole 60 for connection of the coolant introducing-in/out tube to a heat exchanger, a cover material 11 for covering at least the inner peripheral surface 60a of the hole 60 for connection, is fitted and after executing brazing in the furnace in the fitting state of the cover material 11, the cover material 11 is removed.
