PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To moderate the degree of impairing feeling and visually confirm a clear color in coloring in a thermally discoloring cloth having a thermally discoloring layer consisting of a binder resin and a thermally discoloring pigment fixed thereto in a dispersed state on a cloth surface. SOLUTION: A penetration-restraining layer 3 for restraining the penetration of a thermally discoloring ink to the inner part of a cloth 2 (enhancing the fiber density by calendering, forming a flexible resin film, or reducing the surface tension by water repellent finishing) is formed on a surface of the cloth 2, and the thermally discoloring layer 4 is formed on the penetration restraining layer 3.
