PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking instruction device capable of carrying out an efficient picking work sufficiently suitable for a practical use and realizing a substantial efficiency enhancement of the picking work even in the case where requirements for taking out articles are concentrated against a specific picking zone. SOLUTION: A location label 17 and a worker instruction indication lamp 16a having a plurality of indication lamps 16a having different indication colors are installed corresponding to a plurality of article-accommodation areas in a picking zone 14. A picking instruction device is provided with a wireless terminal HG for reading and wireless-transmitting the location label 17 to a DB server 19 corresponding to the number of the indication lamps 16a of the worker instruction indication lamp 16 and receiving and indicating a taken out amount wireless-transmitted from the DB server 19.
