PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such a condition that a wide installation space remains when the arrangement is out of service. SOLUTION: A discharged sheet stacking device 13 is equipped with discharged sheet stacking means 1 which is installed in the body and whereon discharged sheets are stacked and a tray displacing mechanism 43 which holds the discharged sheet stacking means in a position where sheet stacking is practicable and makes it displaceable to a position nearer the body 14 than the sheet stacking position.
