<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head in which color shift can be suppressed on a print sheet when shifted pixel exposure is carried out using an optical path altering means, and to provide a printing apparatus and method using that print head. SOLUTION: This print head comprises an LCD 2 for modulating light from a light source 1 depending on image data for each pixel part, a refraction plate 3 for printing a plurality of images corresponding to one pixel part at different positions on a print sheet 6 by varying the inclination angle of at least one of light incoming plane and light outgoing plane relatively thereby altering the optical path, a BGR rotary filter 5 for exposing respective color components of the image sequentially based on the image data, and a control section 15 for controlling the inclination angle of the refraction plate 3 depending on each color component of the BGR rotary filter 5.</p> |
