PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase moment load capacity of a dynamic pressure type bearing unit. SOLUTION: A widthδR of a radial bearing clearance Cr and a widthδA of each of thrust bearing clearance CS1 and CS2 are set such that, in an inclined shaft member 2, an outer peripheral surface of a shaft 2a comes into contact, at both sides in an axial direction, with radial bearing surface 10a opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 2a, and simultaneously, each of outer diameter ends of both end surfaces of a flange part 2b comes into contact with each of thrust bearing surfaces 11a, 11b which are respectively opposite to the both diameter ends of the flange part 2b, whereby the moment load can be set at both a radial bearing part 10 and a thrust bearing part 11. Concretely, the widthδR of the radial bearing clearance Cr and the widthδA of each of the thrust bearing clearances are set based on a relational expression of DδR/L+ε>=δA>=DδR/L (wherein D represents a diameter of the flange part 2b, L represents a length L in an axial direction of the radial bearing part, andεrepresents machining error).
