PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the cutting edge angle even of a small sized cutting tool and reduce the weight of a large sized cutting tool by using a simple structure for cutting edge angle adjustment. SOLUTION: A tip mounting seat has three peripheral constraining portions against which side faces of a throwaway tip 21 are pressed constrainedly. Two of them are projections 15 and 16 projecting inwardly from the perimeter of the tip mounting seat. The other one is the taper face of a screw member 41 with a countersunk head 42 driven in a tapped hole cut near the tip mounting seat. A change in the depth of threaded engagement of the screw member 41 can accordingly move the abutment place of the taper face of the head 42 to the side face of the tip 21 to thus adjust a cutting edge angleθ1.
