PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission system for an elevator reducing the laying works of cables between image devices and improving the workability in installation and maintenance. SOLUTION: This image transmission system is provided with a plurality of cameras 16a-16c photographing, at least, either one of the circumference of an elevator landing or the inside of the elevator car, transmitters 17a-17c and 18a-18c converting images photographed by the cameras into radio signals and transmitting them, receivers 220, 21 receiving the radio signals transmitted by the transmitters and demodulating them into image signals, a display means 15 displaying the image signals outputted from the receivers, image selecting means 17a-17c selecting images to be displayed on the display means 15 from the images photographed by the plurality of cameras 16a-16c.
