PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device miniaturizing the size, preventing the installation space in the lateral direction from increasing, eliminating a user from operating incorrectly, and enabling the double-side printing. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an opening communicated to a double-side printing carrier passage 16 in a transfer paper mount 7 side, a normal/reverse rotation roller 18 normally/reversely transferring positioned adjacent to the opening, and a tray 19 mounted on the opening with its projecting from the device side; discharges a transfer paper carried by a double-side printing carrier passage 16 to the tray 19 by the normal rotation of the normal/reverse roller 18; and feeds it to a register roller 10 by the reversion of the normal/reverse roller 18.
