PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-insulating container wherewith dry ice packed therein can be used efficiently with its sublimation accelerated while the speed of sublimation is adjusted when required, making it adjustable to keep dishes housed therein cool and suitability is ensured for improving effectiveness of keeping the dishes cool. SOLUTION: For a container 12 formed of a molded body approximately in a cup-like shape having a refrigerant such as dry ice therein, a breathable part 16 is provided at a bottom part 12b thereof while a lid 14 is provided. As occasion demands, a means 14p for adjusting the degree of tightness in closing of the lid 14 is provided, and an air vent 12a for letting air come into the container 12 while the container is shut up with the lid is provided.
