PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheets storing and feeding device to take up a sheet of paper pinched by tapes on a roller altogether and feed the taken-up sheet from the roller, whereby it is practicable to prevent the tapes from slackening certainly and embody the device in a simple structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: The paper sheets storing and feeding device includes a first takeup roller to take up tapes and a second takeup roller to take up a sheet of paper in such a condition as pinched by the tapes altogether and performs storage and feed of the sheet by making takeup and rewind of the tapes between two rollers, wherein the first roller has a spiral spring unit to make rotational energization to give tensions to the tapes so that no slackening is generated at all times while the second roller has a driving means to rotate in two directions, taking up and rewinding.
