PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a right and left visually recognizing unit capable of expressing the driver's personality. SOLUTION: This right and left visually recognizing unit for vehicle is fitted to a front end or a rear end of a vehicle, and leads the sight in right and left into a casing through windows, and picks up an image of the led sight (a) with a camera through a mirror, and displays the image in a monitor M arranged in the vehicle. The casing is formed into a shape expressing an idea such as a character or an emblem. The shape of idea is expressed by a cover 10 to be fitted to the casing, and the casing is formed with windows communicated with the described windows. The shape of idea is effective to show the will of a driver, and various expression is possible by selecting the appropriate shape. As the shape of idea, animal, plant, various character, miniature of vehicle, emblem of each automobile maker, emblem created by the driver or the like is used.
