PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resinoid bonded grinding wheel having sharpness and suitable for processing requiring a large allowance, even though having a high coupling degree so as to enhance wear resistance. SOLUTION: The gear-honing grinding wheel 10 has a structure where block- form abrasive grains 24, where sol-gel abrasive grains are bound together in a block form with a vitrified binder, are bound together with epoxy resin 28 as a thermosetting resin binder. The block-form abrasive grains 24, large compared to a single grain of the sol-gel grains, are supported relatively firmly by the thermosetting resin binder so that edges of the sol-gel abrasive grains, bound together with the high-stiffness vitrified binder in the block-form abrasive grains 24, are reconditioned by the continuous fallout of fine crystals by the shocks during grinding, like a vitrified grinding wheel. By this, even though having a high coupling degree so as to enhance wear resistance, the grinding wheel has sharpness and is suitable for processing requiring a large allowance.
