PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow simple and easy building work of a special structure and reduce working hours and building cost. SOLUTION: Just an end part projection part of a main tube 30 of a steel tube structure A projected on a horizontal projection plane and a vertical projection plane on which reference line grids common for all of various structures are drawn is drafted on first and second positioning sheets 35, 36 by an automatic drafting means based on its projection image data, and a horizontal surface plate 10 on which a reference line grid (a) corresponding to the reference line is scribed is provided, and a vertical surface plate 11 on which a reference line grid (a) corresponding to the reference line is provided in a stand up position being arranged in L-shaped surface plate layout, and a pedestal building body 12 supporting the main tube is provided on the horizontal surface plate. The first and the second positioning sheets 35, 36 are set on the end part projection location with setting prescribed intersection points in each end part projection positions of the main tube on the horizontal surface plate and the vertical surface plate as datum. The main tube is arranged on the pedestal building body and is moved and adjusted to align one end 30a to the end part projection position on the first positioning sheet and the other end 30b to the end part projection position on the second positioning sheet, and is positioned.
