PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a torque wrench constituted so that generation can be effectively suppressed of excessively tightening torque (over torque) to a thread tightened treaded screw. SOLUTION: This torque wrench has a slide top energized in a tip end part direction of a torque wrench handle member in its inside by receiving elastic force of a spring, toggle roller supported at a tip end part of this slide top, and a head member supported capable of oscillating in a tip end part of the torque wrench handle member further with a curved recessed part provided fitting partly the toggle roller by elastic force of the spring.
