PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement assisting device for nursing care capable of transferring a person to be cared from a bed to a wheelchair or from the wheelchair to the bed even by one caretaker without bringing him to an unnatural form while reducing the load applied to the helper. SOLUTION: A movement assisting device for nursing care is used when a person 1 to be cared is transferred from a bed 2 to a wheelchair 3 or from the wheelchair 3 to the bed 2 and has a guide board 4 as an essential member. The guide board 4 has a transfer part 6 and an engaging part and the transfer part 6 is laid across the upper surface of the bed 2 and the upper surface of the seat part 3a of the wheelchair 3 stopped in the state opposed to the side surface 2a of the bed 2 and has an easy slip upper surface to slide and transfer the person to be cared thereon in a sit-down state. The engaging part is used for engaging the transfer part 6 with the wheelchair 3 in a detachable manner and consists of the hook parts provided to both left and right side edge parts of the transfer part 6.
