PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing, using as the main raw material papaya having excellent health effects, papaya-containing health food containing various kinds of microorganisms such as lactobacillus, citric acid bacteria, butyric acid bacteria and yeast, capable of considerably enhancing self-healing power inherent in human beings by the synergistic effect of health effect substances contained in these microorganisms and papaya, and excellent in practicality. SOLUTION: This method for producing a papaya-containing health food comprises adding yeast to papaya to ferment it for predetermined days by the action of the yeast and wild yeast inherently adhered to the papaya followed by adding lactobacillus to the thus fermented product to conduct the cocultivation of the above-mentioned yeast, wild yeast and lactobacillus. |
