PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burr treating method on a forged product, by which the forging time can be shortened by forming with a continuous process, and any trouble is not developed in a following process with the left burr, and a device therefor. SOLUTION: 1; In the burr treating method on the forging product having the burr extended in the axial direction on the outer peripheral end part, after bending the burr to the axial center side, the bent burr is crushed in the axial direction. 2; In the burr treating method on the forged product having the burr extended in the axial direction on the inner peripheral end part, after bending the burr to the outer peripheral side, the bent burr is crushed in the axial direction. 3; The burr treating device is provided with a mandrel for laying the forged product having the burr extended in the axial direction on the outer peripheral end part, an outer punch having the inclined surface abutted on the burr on the inner peripheral and an inner punch disposed to the inner peripheral side of the outer punch so as to be possible to advance/retreat in the axial direction. 4; The burr treating device is provided with a mandrel for laying the forged product having the burr extended in the axial direction on the inner peripheral end part, an inner punch having the inclined surface abutted on the burr on the outer periphery and an outer punch disposed to the outer peripheral side of the inner punch so as to be enable to advance/retreat in the axial direction.
