Under the load platform (6) are two bodies and a coil spring that limit the vertical movement of the platform but permit some horizontal displacement. The first body comprises the third plate (20) and fourth part (22) and rests on a resistive load cell (4). The second body comprises first and second plates (12,14), bolted together and separated by spacers (18) that pass through openings in the third plate. It supports the load platform and the fifth plate (34), which can move horizontally with respect to the second plate. Downwards displacement ceases when the second body reaches the stops (36).
