PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially favorably producing bis-(aminomethyl)-tricyclodecane and bis-(aminomechyl)-pentacyclopentadecane. SOLUTION: This method comprises hydroformylating dicyclopentadiene or tricyclopentadiene to obtain a reaction product liquid containing dialdehydes, adding an extractant comprising a polyhydric alcohol into the reaction product liquid and mixing, separating the mixture to a hydrocarbon compound layer and an extractant layer and reducing and aminating the extractant layer.
