HYDROUS ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND CATAPLASMA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both an hydrous adhesive composition having a high water content, high adhesivity and high shape retention and a cataplasma having high water retention ability in plastering and improved cooling effect and percutaneous absorption of medicine. SOLUTION: This hydrous adhesive composition comprises (A) a polyacrylic acid, (B) a polyvalent ion and (C) a nonionic high water absorption polymer compound and has 70-90 mass % water content. The cataplasma is obtained by spreading the hydrous adhesive composition to a substrate.
