PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scrubbing agent capable of properly adjusting particle shape and size, having biodegradability, efficiently cleaning stain on the surface of the skin, keratinized skin, etc., providing smooth touch to the skin and a properly stimulating feeling. SOLUTION: This scrubbing agent comprises nonspherical cellulose particles having 0.1-1 mm particle diameter and 0.08-0.7 g/ml bulk specific gravity.
