PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head in which the volume of an ink drop, being ejected by roof shooter system, can be controlled. SOLUTION: Pressure being applied to an ink drop 7, being moved from an ink chamber 2 to an ejection nozzle 6 by the pressure of a bubble 10 generated from a heater 1, is made uniform in a plane parallel with the opening of the ejection nozzle 6 by making the bottom face of the bubble 10 substantially circular. Since the ink drop 7 is subjected to the pressure of the bubble 10 uniformly, the ink drop 7 can be ejected efficiently and generation of satellite can be suppressed.
