PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a filter material having high capturing ratio to solid impurities such as dust and dirt, low in pressure loss and capable of removing malodor and harmful materials. SOLUTION: In the filter material, a mixed layer consisting of functional particles and a polymer and in which flocculated pores are formed is installed or embedded in the vicinity of the surface of a porous sheet material.
