PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently catch and recover suspended material contained in a liquid. SOLUTION: A supply means 14 supplies the liquid 12 containing the suspended material 11 into a liquid tank 13 and a double cylindrical body 16 is provided in the liquid tank 13 rotatably around an axial line with a part of an outer cylinder 17 and a part of an inner cylinder 18 projected from a liquid surface. Filter medium 21 is accommodated in a filtration space 19 so as to be able to flow and not to be able to leak therefrom and the filter medium catches the suspended material. A rotating means 43 rotating-drives the double cylindrical body and a draining means 46 discharges the liquid passed through the filter medium from inside of the inner cylinder to outside of the liquid tank. Partition plates partition the filtration space into small spaces, a cleaning nozzle 54 above the outer cylinder sprays a cleaning liquid 60 onto the filter medium in the small space above the liquid surface to remove the suspended material from the filter medium. A liquid collecting vessel 63, which is located inside the inner cylinder and is fixed to the liquid tank 13, collects the cleaning liquid sprayed from the cleaning nozzle together with the suspended material and a guiding tube 64 guides the cleaning liquid containing the suspended material in the liquid collecting vessel 63 to an unfiltered liquid outside the double cylindrical body.
