The invention relates to a connector used in pediatric intensive care. A highly sensitive breath stream sensor which consists of two micro pressure sensors (2, 3) that are introduced into the inner wall of the connector (8) at a distance form each other is integrated in said connector. Said sensors are connected to a measuring device (4). The rear sides of the pressure sensors (2, 3) are coupled by means of a channel (6) and are connected to the atmosphere by means of an opening (7). The pressure sensors (2, 3) are provided with an upper limit frequency of preferably at least 1,000 Hz and have practically no reaction time. |
