PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good image by writing an image at an accurate timing constantly. SOLUTION: In response to a BD signal delivered from an optical beam detector on the upstream side, the imaging apparatus generates a TOP signal delayed behind the BD signal by a specified interval corresponding a shift correction unit less than one line and generates a TOP signal on the downstream side based on the TOP signal on the upstream side and the BD signal from an optical beam detector on the downstream side. Each scanner unit controls writing timing of the optical beam based on the TOP signal and the BD signal. |
