PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-insulating paper cup for microwave oven wherein burn is not generated on the heat-insulating paper cup including the rim on the bottom when a heat-cooking is performed by a microwave oven by placing a content such as a beverage or an instant food in the heat-insulating paper cup equipped with a paper cup main body and an external cylinder on the outer periphery of the paper cup main body. SOLUTION: This heat-insulating paper cup for microwave oven is equipped with a paper cup main body comprising a body member and a bottom member, and having a rim on the bottom, and an external cylinder on the outer periphery of the paper cup main body. In this case, on the rim on the bottom, a metal tape having at least a metal layer is affixed. In concrete, the metal tape is affixed on the internal surface section of the rim, a section extending to the internal surface section of the rim and the bottom section, the external surface section of the rim, a section extending to the external surface section of the rim and the bottom section, the internal surface section and the external surface section of the rim, and a section extending to the internal surface section of the rim, the bottom section and the external surface section of the rim.
