PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent projection of a striker when a seat back is tilted. SOLUTION: A bracket 81 is erected on the rear edge part 53 of a cushion frame 51, and a cam hole 84 is provided in continuous wall 83 of the bracket 81. A guide member 85 is provided on the continuous wall 83 of the bracket 81, thereby holding a striker 16 shaped like a rectangular frame to be freely moved vertically. A shaft 101 is rotatably supported on both side walls 82 of the bracket 81, and the shaft 101 is provided with a cam 102. An oblong hole 103 into which the lower edge 92 of the striker 16 is loosely fitted is formed in the tip part of the cam 102, and an extending plate 104 extending sideways is provided on the end part of the shaft 101. A pin 106 projected on an arm 60 of a reclining device 55 is locked in a locking hole 105 provided in the free end part of the extending plate 104, and the rotating direction of the shaft 101 caused by backward tilting of the seat back 42 is set to the direction of displacing the tip part of the cam 102 downward.
