Pipe junction - for polyethylene piping with welded seal mounting to carry drill

Designed for plastic piping carrying pressurised fluid or vapour, the seal mounting is welded to the surface and the seal withdrawn to allow the drill bit to pass through to the body of the piping. After drilling, with the drill waste drawn upwards, the seal is slid to the closed position giving a sealed junction point, compensated for any subsequent stretching of the polyethylene pipe material.
