POLYMER PARTICLE OF MULTILAYERED STRUCTURE AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain new polymer particles of a multilayered structure capable of providing a molded product having excellent elastic recovery properties, moderate flexibility and good mechanical properties in a well-balanced state. SOLUTION: (1) The polymer particles have (I) a rubber component layer in the innermost part, (II) a rubber component layer on the adjacent part thereof and (III) a thermoplastic resin component layer in the outermost part. (2) The layers (I) and (II) are respectively formed by the copolymerization of a monomer mixture (i) and a monomer mixture (ii) comprising 50-95 wt.% of an acrylic ester, 49.99-0 wt.% of other monofunctional monomers and 0.01-10 wt.% of a polyfunctional monomer. (3) The content (wt.%) of the acrylic ester in the monomer mixture (i) is lower than that (wt.%) of the acrylic ester in the monomer mixture (ii). (4) The layer (III) is formed by the copolymerization of (iii) a monomer mixture comprising 40-99 wt.% of a methacrylic ester and 60-1 wt.% of other monomers.
