PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject demolding method hardly applying unreasonable deforming force or damage to the belt teeth of a spiral gear at a time of demolding, not increasing size of equipment and reduced in cost. SOLUTION: In a method for demolding a belt sleeve 17, which is molded by using a mold 11 having a circular cross section having belt tooth forming spiral grooves 10 formed to the outer peripheral surface thereof, from the mold 11, the mold 11 is held to a state impossible to rotate to be moved in the direction of the axial line L of the mold centering around the axial line L of the mold and the belt sleeve 17 is rotated in the direction corresponding to the inclination of the spiral grooves 10 of the mold 11 around the axial line L of the mold by a belt sleeve rotating means 20.
