PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely mount and fix a channel cover without the warping deformation or slippage following the positional slippage of two members of a body member and a bottom member in a washing machine comprising a washing tub formed by connection the two members and a channel cover for forming a channel for circulating water by the pumping action of a reverse blade mounted over the two members. SOLUTION: This washing machine comprises a washing tub 24 formed by connecting a body member 24a to a bottom member 24b and a channel cover 34 for forming a channel 33 for pumping water along the inner wall of the washing tub 24 by the pumping action of the reverse blade 28 of an agitating body 27 provided on the tub inner bottom, which is mounted extending over the body member 24a and the bottom member 24b. The channel cover 34 is mounted and fixed by engaging the upper and lower parts of the channel cover 34 with the body member 24a and the bottom member 24b through fitting means, and fitting the middle part thereof to the body member 24a or bottom member 24b.
