BELT FOR SHOE PRESS AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for shoe press having uniform hardness as a whole and excellent durability and provide a process for the easy production of the belt. SOLUTION: The objective belt is composed of a cylindrical elastic polymer member 2 and a base member 3 placed in the wall of the polymer member 2. The base member 3 is produced by winding and laminating a broad web 4 in the form of a cylinder within the width of the web 4. The belt is reinforced in the lateral direction to prevent the lateral elongation of the belt and the hardness is uniformized over the whole width to remarkably improve the durability.
