PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal apparatus, with which the molten metal can be supplied, even if a cast iron consisting of an outer core is not dipped into the molten metal as it is. SOLUTION: The molten metal supplying apparatus is the one, by which an electromagnetic pump 9 is dipped into a molten metal vessel 1 for storing the molten metal (a) and a small gap 6 having the interval (d) around the electromagnetic pump 9, is formed and a discharging hole 7 of the molten metal is arranged at a part of the gap 6. This interval (d) of this gap 6 is made to <=20 mm. Around the gap 6, the outer core 13 of magnetic body is not necessarily arranged, but may be arranged. In the case of arranging this outer core 13, this core may be embedded into walls 24 and 24' in the molten metal vessel 1.
