摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To displace a power supply cable by smoothly following a movement of a vibration damping body without generating large noise. SOLUTION: In this vibration damping device having a structure for laterally swinging a weight 3 as a self-traveling vibration damping body on a circular arc-shaped main rail 2, a guide rail 16 formed in a circular arc shape is arranged in a position on the side of the main rail 2. A carrier frame 17 lengthwise in the lateral directional is swingingly placed on the guide rail 16. Wire rope wheels 19 and cable wheels 20 are respectively coaxially superposed and supported in both end parts of the carrier frame. Left/right wire ropes 25 are extended between the left/right wire rope wheels 19, one ends are respectively fixed to the weight 3, and the other ends are fixed to the central part vicinity of the guide rail 16 to form a close loop. A power supply cable 11 is extended in the same passage as the wire ropes 25 via the left/right cable wheels 20 to be introduced to the weight 3.
