FRAME MATERIAL FOR INSPECTION PORT AND INSPECTION, PORT FRAME BODY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection port frame body facilitating the fitting and removing of a cover plate closing an inspection port formed on a wall. SOLUTION: An inspection port frame body formed with upper, lower, right and left frame materials 1 into a square shape can removably hold a cover plate 6 at its inner peripheral portion. Each frame material 1 has a main body member 15 integrated with a first cover piece 5 covering the inner periphery 3 of the inspection port and a second cover piece 9 covering the outer periphery 7 of the cover plate 6 across a groove section 10 between them. A cover plate support piece 17 supporting the rear face 16 of the cover plate 6 is provided at the rear section of the main body member 15. The second cover piece 9 is inclined toward the first cover piece 5. When a shield piece 41 shielding the open section of the groove section 10 is closed, the second cover piece 9 can be elastically deformed in the direction to decrease the tilt angle. The tip side portion 52 of the closed shield piece 41 supports the end edge portion 53 of the cover plate 6 from the front side.
