PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-like usable cosmetic product telescopic container in which a movable pan member for fixing a base end of the cosmetic product can be prevented from being lifted by an external force at the time of non-use such as storage and transportation and the like, the cosmetic product can be prevented from being struck against the rear surface of a cap, and in turn at the time of use, the movable pan member is positively engaged with the container at an optional position and the movable pan member is not retracted under such a state as one in which the rod-like cosmetic product is depressed. SOLUTION: A movable pan member 3 formed with a rod-like cosmetic product-fitting segment B at its upper part is fitted into a major cylinder 2 in such a way that it can be slid and lifted. The movable pan member 3 is moved up and down by a lever 4 having a special configuration. In addition, the lever 4 is constituted such that its engaging protrusion 18 can be engaged at optional lifting position for the upper surfaces of many engaging protrusions 9 formed in vertical rows in the major cylinder.
