PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package which is used for displaying a stick-like article such as toothbrush or ball-point pen for sale at a store front and also to provide a method for manufacturing such package. SOLUTION: A package is in a structure wherein a bag body made of a synthetic resin film is inflated with a gas injected therein through an opening thereof and formed into a balloon with the opening sealed up by welding while a stick like article is housed, being suspended in midair, in the bag body, and a connecting piece fixed at least at one position of the stick-like article is welded to the welded sealed-up part of the bag body.
